I have been very impressed with the performance of these wired headphones. I absolutely LOVE the 'Winged Ear" comfort attachments! I workout a lot and I feel that the "winged ear" attachment provide secure and grounded comfort.

The sound is good, they don't sit very well in the wat and are extremely hard, can only stand to have then in for maybe 15 min. The buds in the box are much better.

First off, the "black" is not black, at all. It's blatantly blue, and not even a particularly dark blue. It's a true blue. Second, the sound quality is awful, and the mic is awful. Volume up, the sound quality on calls isn't clear, and no one can hear me well. Cheap. And I'm really mad they're calling these black.

Bought these in November as a replacement for my previous earphones. I really liked the sound quality and interchangeable rubber pieces, but like with every other set of earphones I buy they completely stopped working in one ear in January. This is annoying.

These earbuds sounds pretty good, but the gels literally come off of them every take you take them out. Impossible to keep up with the gels. They get lost and then you can't find a replacement, so you would have to buy all new ear buds. What happened to wired AKGs that came with the S9??? Why don't Samsung sell them anymore??? Annoying!

I got these at the airport thinking they were going to be another pair of overpriced and easily breakable earbuds, but they have lasted through an international trip, gym time, and general everyday wear (now about 5 months).
I'm not a connoisseur of audio-gear, but for me, the sound quality is good (not crackly and not a weak sounding bass). They stay in your ear without much effort, and are super comfortable for every-day use when you just flip out the wings (they're soft but not sticky). I have always hated the ones that have the suction thing to make them sound proof (the hurt and never seem to stay in), and don't like the regular plastic ones because they're cold when you put them in and do get crackly with static in the winter, so these were an awesome alternative I'd not seen before.
Overall way better than I was expecting in terms of: comfortability, stay-in-ness, and sound quality. I had honestly been looking for headphones like these for a LONG TIME, and was really lucky to happen upon them. I wrote this with no incentive (other than procrastinating work)- I just liked them so much that I had to let other people know so they can enjoy these awesome buds. Only downside is that I don't think the buttons on it work with my iphone, but I will definitely buy another pair when these ones die.

Samsung's version of black is more like a midnight blue. I was looking forward to having my headphones match my phone case but now I have dark blue headphones with a black case. Black and blue are not colors I like together at all but they get the job done so I'll live with it. Bummed.

The headphones that came with my Galaxy S7 were the most comfortable earbuds I'd ever used, so when they were damaged I came here looking for a new pair.
These are the same earbuds, but they sound a little better and are dark grey instead of white.
These are the only earbuds I've personally used that are both comfortable and secure, thanks to the rubber material of the headphone covers and their shape.
The product image shows only the "active" buds (which are great), but thankfully it also comes with 3 extra pairs of regular (no hook) buds.
I don't know what I'll do if they stop producing these, because they are the only reasonably priced earbuds I've found that I like wearing at all.
The sound is good and has a fair amount of low-end, but they are not audiophile quality obviously.

I loved these when I first got them. The sound is good, the fit is great. But, as other users have pointed out the cord gives out way too fast. I lost sound in the right bud just a few months after purchase. I was going to purchase another pair but after seeing how others have had the same trouble it's not worth re-investing. Please fix this Samsung and I will be back.

1. Design 5 Stars (Headphones have everything I need, nothing extra, minimalist style);
2. Performance (Sound quality and mic recordings are good enough, remote controller works good too);
3. Silicone earbuds - Yes, they fell out sometimes, but (in my case it was reasonable, they fell out under hard pressure or mess in my pockets when I tried to get them out);
I was looking for a good pair of headphones for running (my previous ones always fell out from the ears while running). This pair of headphones worked perfect for me, always stayed in my ears and felt comfortable many hours (listening music, working on laptop, using with Galaxy S7 phone). Still using silicone earbuds from this headphones with others... Works great! Keep silicone earbuds in your active headphone products!
BUT ONLY ONE THING:
Samsung please improve the quality of the cord, they really last about 2-3 months only.
3 Stars for value and overall rating only because of that.
CONCLUSION: I will not buy new pair because they don't last long enough even the sound quality and design are great.

So first they are square and your ear hole is round, they hurt so much I thought my ears were bleeding. Second they are hard not soft like the description said. And lastly the cord is not smooth so it gets stuck to everything.

and the worst part is that Samsung will not replace the ear buds. They fall off or tear immediately, and headset is uncomfortable to wear without them.

wanting to buy some new earphones I came back to Samsung as their earphones are absolutely wonderful in sound and improve in design with each newly released pair. I saw that the Active In-ear headphones came in black and I knew I had to get a pair myself. I did some research and looked at some reviews to discover that people were having issues deciding whether or not if they were actually "Black" or "Navy Blue". Concerned I took to YouTube to watch some reviews and get a better visual, only to see that they didn't look Navy Blue. So, I ordered some of my own only to discover that this "Black" is indeed a Navy Blue. I love Samsung but, as a long time customer I am disappointed to see that they can't produce a simple product that they've made before. The only reason I haven't thrown them out is because how pricey these puppies are. A recommendation for this product is well deserved, but I will say that don't order the Black headphones unless you want them in Navy Blue.

I use these in-ear buds daily at the gym to listen to music. The sound is very clear and in HD audio. When a call comes in it is easy for me to accept the call. And the caller says that they can hear me very well. I love them. Unfortunately the winged gel buds keep falling off and or get stuck in my ear. I called Samsung and they were willing to swap out my entire headset for a new one just to send me replacement in-ear buds.

When i opened them, I loved them the sound and quality are amazing but my earphones came out busted because on the third song it was already hearing scrachy, not sure if mine came out defective or not.. was dissapointed about that...
